A few years ago , my husband John and I, walked into a church hall in North London looking for an activity that we could enjoy together that would keep us both fit and healthy. Quite by chance ,  I ended up finding something completely unexpected and totally fascinating. My growing passion for Taiji recently culminated in a recent trip to China with my instructor to practice and study in the birthplace of Taiji (Tai Chi).

This particular branch of the art, Wu style Hao family Taiji, can be practised by people at any age, as the movements are very natural. However, the original internal requirements, knowledge and theory that make up Taiji, are still held and taught faithfully to all Wu Hao practitioners making this a very powerful internal art. Regular practice will deliver a range of tangible health benefits, both mental and physical. For those interested in delving more deeply into the art, a very rare opportunity exists here for you to embark on a remarkable journey that will enable you to learn more about yourself and others, both physically and spiritually.

My teacher, Ugur Osman, is an exceptionally skilled teacher and traditional practitioner, who is one of only two Western direct lineage disciples chosen by the head of the system in China. Ugur still travels regularly to China to study with his teacher and research the internal arts and I feel both lucky and priviliged to be his student. He is an inspiration and example to those he teaches. I am also grateful to my fellow students for their support, encouragement and enthusiasm which make training a joy.
