We all take the same journey with the first step, however it is reassuring to know the journeys end and even more important the correct route. Although some people may reach their journeys end, I know finding a true teacher of the art and correct transmission I will get the direct route!
It is with this in mind I always teach and outline in my classes what has been taught and passed down to me by my teacher. However it is important that we all research and test our art but we must always come back to the source, where we first drank the water.
I hope that my students feel the same as I pass on my knowledge and they to as they continue their training and studies. I am truly grateful for the time, patience and guidance that my teacher Master Liu Jishun has given me.
